WATER SYSTEM OPERATOR – Rick Finke – The water samples have been returned; the water is safe to drink, Water usage last month, compared to the same month last year was 80,000 gallons less.

SOLID WASTE COMMITTEE – Bruce Olson – Peninsula Sanitation will not put a dumpster at Gratiot Lake or Lake Medora as it is not cost effective for them. The Committee is considering putting a gate at the solid waste site to replace the chain.

BEACH COMMITTEE – Fred Geis – Absent

RECREATION COMMITTEE – Barb Sickler – Absent.

• Special assessment for Solid Waste – Resolution was read by Supervisor James Boggio. MM/S Johnson/Olson to adopt the resolution. Roll call vote: Olson-yes; Keith-yes; Boggio-yes; Clarkson-yes; Johnson-yes

• Swearing in of New Officials and Deputies: Jim Boggio-Supervisor; Jeane Olson-Clerk; Ann Johnson-Treasurer; Dick Lantz and Tom Ellis-Trustees; Doug Sherk-Deputy Supervisor and Bruce Wagner-Deputy Clerk

• New Officials Training will be Tuesday, November 28 in Iron Mountain. Five new officials will attend. The Township will pay the fees and mileage.

• Plaques were presented to outgoing officials: Gerald Johnson, Don Keith and John Clarkson in acknowledgement of their years of service.
